Shooting in Vermillion leaves man dead

VERMILLION, S.D.–The Vermillion Police Department is investigating the death of a man who was found with a gunshot wound Tuesday night.
At 11:58 p.m., a 911 caller reported a shooting in the 600 block of Catalina Avenue.
Vermillion Polic Chief Crystal Brady says officers arrived and found a man dead from a gunshot wound.
Brady says there is no threat to the public and all involved parties are cooperating. No arrests have been made and no names have been released pending notification of family.
