The Legend Of “Buckethead”

We need to tell you about Buckethead! This poor dog was seen around Vermont for a week with a bucket-like plastic container stuck over its head.  The dog ran from anyone who tried to approach it, but eventually animal control knew they had to figure something out because he was getting so skinny. The key to capturing him after 8 days?   McDonald’s chicken nuggets. 

Kudos to the people who helped rescue Buckethead aka “Bucky”! He’s now in foster care with Animal Control Officer Renee Falconer until he heals enough to find a home.
