UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed on I-29 identified

BERESFORD, S.D.–A man killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 29 in Union County last weekend has been identified.
Authorities say 66 year-old Gene Eli of Yankton was southbound when the cycle entered the median and crashed.
Eli was ejected from the motorcycle, and taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol investigated the crash. They say speed and alcohol appear to have not been a factor.
